On Thursday, July 16th, Grammy-nominated singer and reality TV star, Tamar Braxton was found unresponsive in her room at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in downtown Los Angeles by her boyfriend, David Adesfesco.
Hours before, Braxton reportedly wrote an alarming message regarding her state of mind and sent it to several family members, who immediately reacted. Sources close to Braxton, reveal that she has threatened suicide several times this year after admitting her internal struggles in a letter to the television network that airs her reality show.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes took to Instagram to tell concerned fans that she’s checked in with Braxton since the incident (and spoke with her day of); letting them know that Braxton is dealing with much more than the public sees and reminding all of us to check in on our friends.
“When you are a strong person, you manage stress differently. People tend to judge the outside Strength on the inside abilities to cope! A lot of strong people cry in the dark and hurt alone… I say that to say this…”
